It's been months since we last had breakfast together. Finally, by skipping my sleep, I managed to breakfast with him this morning :) Simple Singaporean hawker fare - Economical beehoon (rice vermicelli) and noodle with chicken wings and fish fillet - with a taste of nostalgia for merely S$2.20.
Besides chicken wings and fish fillets, this breakfast stall also serves cabbage, fried eggs (sunny side up) and a variety of other deep-fried foods including sotong (squid) balls, sausages, spring rolls, luncheon meat, etc. It's one of the only two stalls in the neighborhood opened for breakfast from 5am onwards. So queue can get pretty long from as early as 6am.
Anyway, after breakfast, we went over to Gombak stadium and walked around the track six rounds. And he finally managed to whistle by inhaling. Had a lovely morning :)
